- Students will use online research strategies to research the local industry and natural resources in their area.
- Students will complete an online/internet safety webquest prior to beginning online activity.
- Students will interview speak with industry leaders.
- Students will work in groups at each school to develop a wiki page delineating the information gained through the research.
- Students will be partnered up to work collaboratively between each school to review each other's wiki pages and define a connection or inter-relatedness between them.
- Students will communicate with other students via Kidblog in order to gain information about the industry in each the 3 different regions.
- Students will use information found in research and through collaboration with other classrooms to determine a connection and/or lineage or some sort and add that information to a culminating wiki page hosted by the teachers.
